Next two training sessions are the 4th Feb and 11th Feb respectively. Why are we only training once a week ?

How about a 24 game fixture (mid season break of course ) Tasmania v the VFL. Great no byes. The team that wins the most games gets to play off in the G.F. No need to have a brain trust to work out a fixture or perhaps this will spare a 5 year old from making difficult decisions. Beam me up Scotty , you know the rest.

I have not been able to sleep since Oliver's departure . We are doomed !!! Not worried if Gates wants to blacken out the Sun (thank god for green energy derived from solar panels). When a short player takes a mark over a taller player , that short player must be taller than what he was when he was 1st measured. Alternatively an elastic tape was used to measure the height of the taller player.

There are good coaches and no so good coaches ( often career killers ) that determine the team's outcome . Under King I am sure we will make finals providing we don't have a lot of injuries.

I can see another year of a [censored] comp. Would like to see a comp of 2X12 teams. Western conference and an Eastern conference. The top 4 of each conference play each other to eventually determine the G.F winner. The extra club could come from S.A , W.A and Tasmanian. Victorian clubs being the bulk could play in each of the two conferences. Each club will play 22 home and away matches. Each club to have one mid season bye (allows players to freshen up). Victorian clubs would rotate between the conference at the start of every new season i.e in 26 and 27 Casey would play in the East , 28 Casey then would play in the West. Otherwise the reserves could be an U23's plus each club is allowed to players over .Only one bye.

Haven't heard much on Kentfield. Does any know ?

Talk about captains wasn't Jones and Viney were co captains? As I remember whaen we got our a.ses kicked neither of them came out and criticized their fellow players for poor performance. Most like they looked at each other dumbfounded.

Age (over 30) these day are overrated.When Geelong won their last flag I thought not possible due to too many old folks in the the team. Collingwood have Sidebottom playing well in the midfield. Pendurbury 100 years old still playing well. Teams are better at managing players especially the older ones. You need "old" experience players to teach the young ones.
