  1. True but with Preussy in the team Max won't tire himself rucking and having to slip back into defence. If we nail the way we use these two blokes we'll have another great weapon in our arsenal.
  2. I was in no way suggesting that we rush anyone back. Agree that it's the price we pay for a longer season. Other clubs like the Cats, Swans and Hawks have managed multiple consecutive long seasons so we need to manage our playing list to be able to go the distance again and again if we want sustained success. We had a lot of end of season ops and having viewed the rehab group running laps the other day in stifling heat I'm not worried about their fitness. Also not concerned about a player like Clarry not training with the main group at this stage. He seems very fit based on what I observed and no doubt a player of his quality can slide into the main group at any stage without skipping a beat.

  4. I like your optimism. Welcome to Demonland. Can understand why Viney is at 134 as a result of him missing most of the year to injury but am staggered that Brayshaw is at 166 considering he played most of the year and was third in the Brownlow. With full years I expect both to make it to the Top 100. Would be thrilled if KK has that impact too. We'll be in a good place if he does.
  5. We often make a big deal when a player finally gets a good full preseason under their belt which is why I am worried that we have so many players that are not going to be getting a good full preseason under their belt. More so because we went deep into the final series in 2018 and we hope to do the same in 2019. I just hope we will still have legs in late September if we are there.
  6. I like Maxy (and Preuss) resting in the forward line and stretching opposition backlines. I also like the prospect of Maxy drifting back deep in the backline and taking those goaline marks. He saved us a few times deep in defence.
  7. 6 in Top 100. 3 in Top 50. 8. The boys will be hitting the track this morning at 11:00am which is 1/2 an hour earlier than previous Mondays. We'd appreciate any reports from intrepid Demonlanders heading down. Thanks in advance.
  9. Here's the comparison with other teams injury lists.
  10. I'm not sure you'd classify it as a knee "injury". Saw a post on Angus Brayshaw Instastory of Petracca playing lawn bowls.
  11. To be fair the spectators weren't running till we spewed.
  12. Photographic evidence of Frosty's hat.
  13. That photo was from Wednesday.
  14. Can't recall seeing Mitch Hannan there today either.

  16. I wouldn't mind Adem Yze returning to the fold. Bring back that Yze Magic.
  17. I was stunned by the amount of training and support staff at the session. We mean business and aint a two bit club no more.
  18. Yes I can confirm that a gentleman matching Neil Craig's description was talking to Todd Viney on the boundary line for most of the session.
  19. It was either that or getting charred in the Perth Sun. Was not going to buy Eagles or even worse Dockers branded sunscreen. I'd rather burn.
  20. Remaining players doing run throughs to finish off the session.
  21. I agree. Also wearing the sunscreen that I purchased at the hotel in Perth and have only worn at that game.
  22. Goal kicking practice not helped by the wind. Some of the backs though have slotted some nice goals on the snap. Salem the best of the bunch.
  23. There are a lot of Japanese tourists watching Victory and Honda on the oval next door.
