Eddie's Plan to Redevelop the G
The whole Brunton Road entrance to Richmond Station needs to be redeveloped including adding more top up machines. They need to make that entrance wider to accommodate the large crowd streaming in at the end of games. To be fair though they do make announcements/have signs warning people to top up before they leave the station so as to avoid the rush at the end of the game. To your point about the machines though I don't believe they are responsible for the bottleneck.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Two hacks walked into a studio. Speaking with Kane Cornes, Hagdorn said the club was at such a âfrustrationâ with the 24-year-old that they were considering all their options to cut ties ahead of the new season. âIâm not tip-toeing around it as much as others,â he said on SEN Mornings. âI do understand how officials at Fremantle and even those at AFL House (are sensitive about this) â itâs probably the AFLâs biggest issue is the mental health concerns amongst some of the athletes. âI think Fremantle are at such a frustration with Jesse Hogan that even considering all that, theyâll have to come to an agreement where he vacates the club for a very long period of time and ultimately I donât think heâll be going back to Fremantle at all. âA player with mental health issues can be put on a long-term injury list and then be reconsidered at a due time well down the track and a player can replace him. âUltimately, I donât think Jesse Hogan is in a position to play football with Fremantle again. Not only has it become a major issue, his habits away from the club which have unfortunately been fairly public over the last 11 months. âNow itâs gotten beyond the playing group, the senior players and now even new senior coach Justin Longmuir, who I understand, are of the view that we should move Jesse (Hogan) on.â

- Season Opening Game
I see your point. Obviously there can be some flexibility. I just think the season opener should be a real blockbuster based on the previous years better performing teams (obviously this doesn't always translate the following year). It doesn't even need to be two Victorians teams at the G. If both SA or WA teams or even the QLD & NSW teams are up the pointy end of the ladder an Interstate Showdown could be a good TV viewing into other states.- Eddie's Plan to Redevelop the G
Luxury??? By train. I have to take a train and travel with Collingwood and Richmond dole bludgers because my driver can't get anywhere near the G.- Eddie's Plan to Redevelop the G
They need to fix the bottleneck into Richmond station after games that have more than 25 or 30 thousand people there. Forget it when there's 50 + and if there's 80 you may as well camp out at the G for the night.- Season Opening Game
I think you misunderstood my point. I'm not saying that teams that bring in big crowds should necessarily be given blockbuster status but teams that play well should be given blockbuster status as the performances will bring in the crowds. The caveat being that blockbusters at the MCG will be between two well performed Victorian teams. Obviously if GWS or GC are playing well that's not going to fill the MCG against a Victorian team.- Eddie's Plan to Redevelop the G
This year's Super Bowl has inspired McGuire with a major plan to redevelop the MCG. ? | Eddie McGuire reveals radical grand plan to upgrade MCG First of all; It's not your ground. I like his plan to join the MCG precinct with Richmond station so you don't block off Brunton Avenue. I'm not a fan of putting a roof over the ground when the Southern Stand is inevitably redeveloped.- Worst After the Siren Record
I have a feeling we're not going to like the results of this.- Worst After the Siren Record
That one felt like a loss.- Season Opening Game
I agree. They should open the season with a Grand Final replay. Are the "Big 4" still required to play each other twice?- Season Opening Game
I believe that teams should have to earn blockbuster status. That rules us out of blockbuster games until we can put runs back on the board. We proved in 2018 that when we are playing well we can draw big crowds but we need some consistency to earn back respect from the AFL community. Carlton, Richmond, Essendon & Collingwood get a free pass (from the AFL) as a result of their Big 4 status but I don't know why Carlton automatically get into this group because their lean years have shown that their supporters are just as fickle as the rest of us when it comes to turning up to games when the chips are down.- Maroochydore Training Camp 2020
I stand corrected then.- Worst After the Siren Record
No surprises here to my fellow MFCSS sufferers. The team with the worst after the siren record is...? ? ? | Which AFL club is has had the most success in after the siren results in history? The Dees have been in 12 games decided after the siren and have only won two, lost 9 and drawn 1. Additionally we have never kicked a goal after the siren to win a game.- Maroochydore Training Camp 2020
I believe the camp has concluded. I noticed that Carlton are now up in Maroochydore doing their preseason camp. The official website lists Monday 10th February at 10:30am as the next Open Training Session. I assume there will be closed sessions either at Gosch's, Casey or some other venue in between unless the boys are getting some time off after a gruelling week.- Demonbracket 2020
