  1. I get that point but given the current climate $100k to ship a piece of dirt for show is IMHO obscene.
  2. That’s costing $100K. How many people at the AFL have lost jobs this year? It’s an insult to them and their families.
  3. Geelong have a finger in every pie.
  4. Careful Dazzle. We don't need another 10,000 post speculation thread ...
  5. I don't want to play negative nancy and burst anyone's bubble but the article's content doesn't instill me with any confidence. "Adelaide has been in talks with Burgess about him joining from Melbourne, where he has spent the past 12 months, and he is keen to return to SA for family reasons. But he is contracted for another two seasons with the Demons and is expected to stay there." There is no new information here or a even a quote. It's just the author's conjecture based upon information that is already out there. We're not even 100% sure he is contracted for 2 more years. The initial reports of him coming to Melbourne only mentioned 1 year and the odd article here and there recently have mentioned this 2 more years. I'm not doubting the 2 more years but as we know contracts aren't worth anything these days and the "family reasons" can be a huge deal especially when it comes to breaking contracts. I'd put a cork in those champagne bottles and let the MFCSS flow through your veins.

  9. Apparently this is the Irony Emoji - ? A classic smiley, turned upside down. Implemented as a flipped version of ? Slightly Smiling Face on most platforms. Commonly used to convey irony, sarcasm, joking, or a sense of goofiness or silliness. Its intent can be similar to the bemused Oh well! of ? Person Shrugging or the shruggie emoticon, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
  10. The rate things are going in Vic I'll be surprised if there are in crowds for sport in January. If they want crowds for the Australian Open they'll have to move it to another state. This goes for the cricket on Boxing Day too.
