The New Melbourne Brand and Public Recognition
Demonland replied to Redjacket's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's a popular thing to do on Facebook usually for a cause like super imposing a semi transparent French flag over your profile picture after the Paris terror attacks in solidarity with the French people or doing the same thing with the rainbow flag in support of gay marriage. Sports teams are getting in on the action now. -
Have you created an account at http://footytips.com.au?
-
Yeah it's not the most intuitive site but better than the other alternatives I've used over the years.
-
There is also a link to the footy tipping website at the top of the page under the banner.

Jimmy Stynes: 4 years have passed
Demonland replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
I ran over the Jim Stynes bridge during the Run 4 the Kids 16km event this morning. I touched the plaque as I passed it as a sign of respect. I had no idea it was 4 years today when I did that. -
Saturday Talking Point: The Football Supporter
Demonland replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
For those of you who are interested WJ has written about Liverpool previously - Here -
We've picked up a discrepancy in the goal kickers from yesterday and made the amendment by crediting Viv Michie with an extra goal. Also please note the spelling of Sam Weideman's surname.

All of yesterdays orders (and 2 from this morning) were just shipped via Parcel Post. For those of you who were wanting sizes that are now Out of Stock I am making another order and will let you know when we are restocked.

I tried on the sizes. Disclaimer: I'm about 5ft 8 or 9 and about 81/82 kgs. I'm medium build and reasonably fit. I'm running 16km on the weekend. I have a little bit of a small gut I could still loose but am relatively thin. I was 10kg heavier at one stage and also 5 kg lighter until I settled back to my current weight. I prefer looser clothes that don't hug the gut. T-Shirts. Large was a perfect fit for me. Medium was a little snug for my liking. If I cut back on the snacks for a few months and starved myself and lost 2 or 3 kgs then Medium would suffice as it fit well elsewhere. I didn't even dare attempt the small and I would assume that a smaller teen or child would be better suited for that. XL was a little large for my frame and XXL was obviously swimming on me. Is anyone interested in XXXL? If so I could include a few in the next run. Polos. Strangely Medium was a perfect for me. Large was already getting a little big for me. The XL was swimming and I can only imagine what the XXL would have been. Again if there is interest in the XXXL then let me know. I obviously didn't try the small. Quality seems good on both.

Due to popular demand I will be doing another run in the more popular sizes. It should be available in the next week or so. The turn around for these ones was really quick. I'll be posting out all the orders that came in today first thing in the morning. Depending on Australia Post you should have them early next week. I hope the quality is ok and they last.
-
I'm more concerned about my man boobs. I'll see what I can do.
-
I'll try one on tonight. However my idea of something that fits well on my frame will be different to yours and so on. Also some brands fit me better in XL and some in L. Online buyers beware. I know the drill too well.
-
I like loose fitting too. I'd go with the XL if you are not sure. I haven't tried one on.
-
The label says that they are but I don't have anything above XXL unfortunately.
-
If you buy today I'll mail it out via Australia Post tomorrow morning. You should have it early next week.
-
I hadn't thought of stubby holders. I'll keep that in mind.

Only if you personalise it with your username on the back.

Finally Demonland Swag! This is just a test. I have created a very limited amount of stock of Demonland T-Shirts and Polo shirts with the Demonland Logo on it. I have no idea whether these will be sought after items or not but I thought I would give it a shot. Obviously the Merchandise is priced in a way that it is also a donation to support the site with the added benefit of getting something you can wear. If you are a Lifetime Subscription member you get $5 off the price. The T-Shirts are $35: The Polos are $45: Stickers are coming soon. So if you want to support this site and get something back in return then these items are for you. Click here: http://demonland.com/forums/store/category/3-merchandise/ Remember stock is very very limited and if there is interest I will have more made up. If the item and size you want has sold out then post here so that I know there is interest and I will order more in. Let me know what you think.
