I will reiterate to all to not cast blame or play amateur detective or post any unsubstantiated rumour that you heard from a friend or a friend about who leaked what & where. Leaks can occur a number of different ways and there is not always an agenda or malice intended. Posting unsubstantiated rumors or speculation about who leaked information is not only unhelpful, but it can also be harmful to individuals and to our community as a whole. Engaging in rumor-mongering or playing "amateur detective" can have serious legal implications. This forum, as well as its users, could face legal action if baseless accusations lead to defamation or other legal issues. The integrity of our forum is paramount. Posts that contain unsubstantiated rumors or accusations may be removed, regardless of the other content in the post. This is to protect both the individuals involved and the community as a whole. Resist the urge to guess or make assumptions about who might be responsible for a leak. Such actions can lead to unnecessary drama and potential harm. I'm not saying you can't discuss leaks or express dissatisfaction with them, but please be careful not to single out or blame any individual as responsible for those leaks. I'm locking this thread because I'm concerned about the direction it might take. It's important to ask ourselves: What is the intended outcome here? Are we trying to expose someone, put them on trial in the court of public opinion, or potentially ruin their career and reputation? And what if we’re wrong? It's disappointing to hear that there may be a leak within the club. However, we must also consider the possibility that the leak, if it exists, might not have been done with any malicious intent. We need to place our trust in the club's ability to investigate any potential leaks and take the necessary steps to address the situation. Starting a witch-hunt on Demonland is not only unproductive but could also have serious consequences for both the forum and its members. Let's avoid any actions that could lead to unnecessary harm or trouble.

I am invested both financially and emotionally to this club as are a lot of Demonlanders. Of course, I would prefer to post only positive, joyful topics. Unfortunately, we're dealing with a challenging situation, and people naturally want to stay informed about what's happening. Earlier in the preseason, we faced serious issues that I wanted to be able discuss openly. However, due to the potential for significant legal ramifications, it was decided that such discussions would be shut down. Currently, the situation we're facing is different. Just because we may feel uncomfortable about the possibility of losing a generational talent who might be unhappy with the club’s direction doesn’t mean we should avoid the topic. I believe we can have meaningful & respectful discussion about this issue while providing real-time updates and continuing our conversations about the club we all care about. We will of course monitor the discourse and if it crosses the lines or people post things that are potentially harmful we will of course moderate accordingly. My intention is not to upset anyone but to keep our community informed. If these discussions make you uncomfortable, I encourage you to steer clear of those threads.
