  2. UNDERSTUDY When Max Gawn was forced onto the sidelines with a torn hamstring, the perfect opportunity for a breakthrough presented itself to the man regarded as the perpetual ruck understudy. Unfortunately, it was not to be as Spencer suffered an AC joint injury. Weeks later and not long after his return, Spencer received a one match club suspension and by then Gawn was back. Jake spent the rest of the season going through the motions at Casey and was delisted after they went out of the VFL finals in straight sets. 3. He's already wearing red and blue. I like this part from the article. “I think he has given his heart and soul to the footy club over the past three seasons and people would always say he was the first to get there and last to leave."
  4. Jake was in the building today.

  14. It's been photoshopped now so it's a done deal. Is that how it works?
  15. No worries mate. I have never been overly critical of OMac. He has made errors as any kid thrust into the position before they were ready (IMHO) would be but I understand why the powers that be decided to persist with Oscar over some more experienced heads in Dunn and Garland (last year). That faith has started to pay off and this week was the culmination of that. He will only get better and better as will his decision making. As I said I am not an expert. I suffer from MFCSS so it is often hard for me to see silver linings. Omac was wrapped in Gold yesterday. Please do call in. That goes to everyone else. We want to hear from other Demonlanders. We all have different opinions but we're all Demons.
  16. I called his first half (against the Pies) how I saw it. He made a couple of crucial errors which have been a big part of his game since he came in. I gave credit where credit was dues when I applauded his second half. It wasn't that he was outstanding, he simply did not fuck it up. I did not watch the first half replay as I am not a sadist so my analysis was based on the emotions of the game. I never claimed to be an expert and if you would like to contribute to the program please call in. We would love to hear different views from different supporters. We are fans not experts. Omac was excellent against the Dogs.
  17. Lyon this morning on SEN. LEWIS WON’T SEE OUT DEAL: LYON AFL great Garry Lyon believes Jordan Lewis will struggle to see out his three year contract at Melbourne. Lewis is in the first year of a new deal after leaving Hawthorn in the off-season. Lyon said Lewis was having a “good, solid season” but questioned whether the four time premiership player will be able to keep up with the pace of the game in the years to come. “I’d be surprised if he plays the whole three years,” Lyon said on SEN radio. “He has influenced games more than Sam (Mitchell). He has been enormous on occasions, behind the footy, throwing himself behind the ball, controlling, dictating, his ball use is superb still. All those things have been great. “There will be moments where Goody (coach Simon Goodwin) will look at it and think, this is too quick for Jordan. We need to get him off or deploy him somewhere else.” Lyon highlighted the Queen’s Birthday clash against Collingwood as a prime example of Lewis struggling with the pace. “That game on Monday was lightning quick in the first half. Jordan had two possessions half way through the second quarter. “The game was too quick for him. As the pace came off and the heat came out
he started to have more impact. “That was great because he is a smart ball user.”
  18. Wondering what he'd look like in a Dees jumper? Wonder no more.
