  1. From a marketing perspective shouldn't Jonesy be wearing the match day kit or do you think the logo getting screentime is better?
  2. Fixed without spending $$$
  3. ? Would anyone object to us spending the NT money on hiring a special effects team to CGI the Zurich logo over the AHG logo?
  4. I don't see it as a distraction. It's all about exposure. I'm sure our sponsors love it. If you don't want to have play games in the NT then we need to build our brand. Winning games and success is one part. Exposure to a mass audience in other forms of media is another.
  5. Exactly. No-one can to that.

I'm calling fake news from the following line in the article which is the only mention of contract talks being on hold without any citing of sources or a statement from Brayshaw or management. The Demon has made clear he wants to stay at Melbourne, but is likely to hold off on signing a new deal for at least another month after starting the year in the VFL team. The media give me the [censored].
  8. Not sure we need to compare the two and be happy that we have both of them. If you are judging and comparing them on this past game you must remember that Trac was in a hospital bed for the good part of a week and barely had time on the track.
  9. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-07/match-review-full-statement-round-seven Nathan Jones, Melbourne, has been charged with misconduct against Jack Newnes, St Kilda, during the third quarter of the Round Seven match between Melbourne and St Kilda, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday May 6, 2018. In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea. Misconduct is fixed financial sanction of $2500. The player can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contact between St Kilda’s Jake Carlisle and Melbourne’s Jesse Hogan from the third quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. The ball was kicked through for a point with Carlisle and Hogan coming towards the goal square, after the ball has passed the line and registered a score. On the behind-goal vision, Carlisle turns toward Hogan and makes contact with an open hand to the throat area of the Melbourne player. The umpire in control of the play is within five metres and pays a free kick to Hogan for high contact. It was the view of the Match Review Officer that there was high contact made to the Melbourne player and the contact was not excessively exaggerated by Hogan. It was also the view of the match review officer that the force used in the contact was below that required for a charge to be laid, and no further action was required after the free kick was paid.

  16. The MFCSS voice inside of my head can't decide whether he'll have a miraculous recovery in time to return for our match or whether his replacement will have a blinder. The glass is never full. ?
  17. The injuries are mounting. Cloud over Hogan. Salem has a broken thumb. Petracca no certainty to return. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-05-01/petracca-no-certainty-for-saints-jones http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-05-01/salem-to-miss-clash-against-saints
