MELBOURNE’s annual Family Day has been confirmed for 2019, with the exciting event set to be held at Yarra Park on Sunday, March 10. The day will begin at 10.30am, with every Melbourne AFL and AFLW player set to attend and run activities on the day. Fans will also have the chance to get an autograph and photo with their favourite players. Prizes and giveaways will be up for grabs, while a range of food and beverages will also be available for purchase. This family friendly event takes place after Melbourne faces Brisbane at Casey Fields in its final JLT match on the preceding Saturday, while the Demons AFLW side also plays on the Saturday night, coming up against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium. Entry to the Family Day is free and everyone is welcome to attend. 2019 Melbourne Family Day details Date: Sunday, March 10 Time: 10.30am to 12.30pm Location: Yarra Park, MCG (outside Jolimont Station) Price: Free Parking Parking is available at the MCG from 9.30am via Gate 5 off Punt Rd for $10. Missed opportunity to play the Casey Round 18 game against Richmond as the curtain raiser to our Round 20 night match against Richmond at the G.

The Casey Fixture came out today and Casey are playing the Bulldogs on the same day as our game against the Bulldogs with the venue as TBC @ 11:40am. Round 15: Sunday July 14, Footscray, Away @ TBC, 11:40am It's a safe bet that this will be a curtain raiser to our game at Marvel Stadium.

The article mentions it also happening at Marvel with the Bulldogs likely to be involved so it's possible that we'll at least get to see Casey play then.

Hopefully Ch 7 and the AFL are testing the waters and if successful we'll get more.

Seems like most games will finish an hour before the Dees game so you'll need to get there early to even catch the tail end or even miss the end watching on TV when you have to leave to get to the G.

I'm convinced that plan A is for him to start as a forward relieving Maxy in the ruck. Hopefully it works because it will definitely benefit both TMac and Weid's games as well as Maxys and going a long way to mitigating the loss of Jesse.

I didn't realise that the club deployed the drone for training analysis. I thought the marketing/social media department used it for promotion/web content.
