I was a big fan as a kid, but not sure whether it was because his footy card was one of the more popular swaps available, or because he was a good player. Can anyone enlighten me?

I remember he took a hanger at Waverley one day.

Funny you should mention him, because I actually blamed him for us not making the finals in 1976. I recall being a young tacker, and listening on the radio to the round 11 game against Colllingwood at the G. In the dying minutes and we were a few points behind, Colin Graham had the ball and there were 4 Melbourne players on their own. He kicked it straight to a Collingwood player (Ian Cooper I think), and that was it, we lost the game. As it turned out, we missed the finals, so I blamed Colin Graham.

I know he was an indigenous player, and I'm pretty sure he was a left footer.

Very handy footballer, half forward /winger. Light but a prodigious left foot kick.

Nephew of Michael Graham one of SA's all time greats who we were trying to bring to Mmelbourne.

Somewhat talented left footer, but achieved little.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
