Whose going?

We will be going straight after junior cricket finals.

Anyone know whether RDB's new book will be on sale there? I know he will be there as well as Robbie Flower.

I want to get him to sign one for my boys. My eldest is doing his project on RDB as a leader he admires. He decided this himself. Nothing to do with fact that Barass was my No 1 hero as a kid & I was lucky enough to see him in the rooms before the games at the G (including one satruday very late in September 1964!).

Lets get the 150 off and running!!

Will be going with my boys and for the first time my grandson, it will probably be an early day for me as he is only 4 and will probably get bored quickly.

Would imagine it's the park in the bottom left in Swann Street.

No, it will be up the Jolimont station end. Near the children's playground there.

We will be there. My son was lucky enough to be selected to present a jumper.

Every one should try to show there support and get there

Some of you may even get the chance to voice your concerns directly.

But atleast get there and show support

Worth an appearance to see the Dees 08 and 150 off the ground.

What did Dean Bailey and Paul Gardner have to say when they presented there gurnseys? I heard they were both going to speak. Also did anyone ask robbo about his singing.

We only arrived after they started the presentations - after first 6 or 7. Only interview was with Neita who received his jumper last. PG and DB did do the presenting & may have talked at start.

FYI RDB dominated the signing tent after the presentations. Was well done with about 8 players all signing stuff for 2 lines of fans.

Got Ron's book signed. His Mum did a wonderful job & is worth a look. Will put photos with him in the book also.

The Admin were very happy with the day.

Also great to see one of our 2008 recruits following in Flash's footsteps. Austin and Shane Valenti will be popular with the fans this year. Aaron has taken him under his wing which is very good news. Also looked like he had one of his brothers with him. very similar build and looked likely type also!

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
