I know nothing about Whyman, but I do remember him playing a few games, and I think he kicked 4 goals against the Dogs in about Round 17. Saw he was delisted, and I think he might be a good pick up to play next to Davey.

ThoughtS?

Why man??

99 times out of a 100 blokes are delisted because they can't play. No thanks.

Nick Gill's new nickname should be Mr.100

Was impressive against us

Most everybody was this year  !!!

people underestimate how good goal sneaks can be if given actual proper run in the seniors for more than 2 weeks...... we need a permanent true crumber as davey seems to be playing more around wing/half forward lately...

if i was the coach if put davey back to where he played best... at the feet of Neitz and Robbo... but if not id definately pick up Whyman as a true crumber..... we lack options when the ball hits the ground.... no denying this.... delist Warnock and Hughes... allows room i think..

See what else is out there. There will be a few names that fall into the PSD that could be better value between now and then.

Whyman has not done much. IF he is a player, he would have been given a chance with the no frills roos. IF he didnt crack the roos lineup, it most likely means he is lazy, soft or both.

next time you see whyman he'll be on $500 a game playing for vermont. and 15kg heavier.

Very talented but application issues.

I think we're getting those blokes out rather than bringing them in at the moment.

Well if North delisted him then he must be pretty crap.. I rate Krakouer higher than Whyman !

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
