i still reckon we should try to trade Travis.

it just really [censored] me off that he has so under performed for us over the last 8 years. its disgusting. he has let the club down.

he still has trade value at this stage of his career due to his ability to win a match off his own boot. fantastic player when on song (which is ussualy about 6 times a years tbo)

if we trade him for pick 9-15 id be stoked. we'd have 2 top draft picks and be able to set up our list for years to come.

atm, we still have major holes in our list.

1) we need a ruckman to replace White

- we'll get Meeson for cheap which is awesome could potentially become a number1 ruck. however, will still need to draft another one in case he doesnt come on as hoped.

2) another key forward to support Newton and Bate post Neitz.

- we could pick up Henderson at pick 4. another top10 picks would be great, but we defintely need to try and draft a key forward.

3) another key back to support Rivers, Frawley and Carool- prefereably a 195cm backman who can handly the big boys

- we could pick up Rance at pick 4. unfortunately we only have 1 high draft pick, so we're going to have to prioritize. that's why a 2nd high draft pick would be invaluable

4) we need a pacy/skillful midfield to complement the tough inside midfielders we have (Jones, Mclean, Sylvia, Moloney)

- we could pick up Ebert/Palmer/Morton with pick 4. that would do our midfield the world of good.

5) we need another small forward to help Davey

- Cyril Rioli is our man if we can get a pick around pick 10! would be an awesome get if possible.

we have too many holes, and not enough high draft picks to fill those holes.

TJ is 27 and underperforming. traading him for a high draft pick would go a long way to filling some of those holes.

TJ is not integral to our future.

Agreed.

If we can get a top pick for him, we should go for it.

We need another first round pick, and TJ can probably get that for us.

If Sydney want TJ, we can trade TJ plus pick 21 for pick 11.

TJ plus 21 for Swans Pick 11 and Pick 30 or whatever their second round is sounds more fair to me.

Keep Johnstone. Unless we want to go the Terry Wallace "We'll be good in 2168" route, in which case we can get rid of most of our older players for good draft picks and have a 3-5 year rebuild.

Whilst I would be interested to see what Johnstone could come up with under a new coach, I feel we would do better to use him as part of a trade and try and snag another top-10 pick. He still has some currency, but come next year he is unlikely to. We should cash in now.

I don't understand why it won't change. I've changed it in the my controls settings, but the bastard thing won't stop haunting me.

Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
