"I'd be in"

PEOPLE, PEOPLE !!....

hards is unavailable, and wise monkey (his annointed successor) is o/seas until November...

somebody (not me owing to work commitments) has to start posting a potential team with positions displayed in the post...

I have a hard-copy record of every poster who has ever played in these matches...

if somebody (mfc ??) will start the "positions" post, I will email the past players and we will take it from there...

if nobody takes responsibility for the "positions" post, I suggest we pass and wait for wise monkey to return in November...

Those guys that have said they want to play, please pick a position and add it to the positions post.

Just remember to cut and paste the position post and add it to your post so we can see where we are all at on this thread.

Dates, Venue, Time etc is to be confirmed, I might leave that up to our skippers Wise Monkey and HD.

I have started a new job and things are pretty hectic at present, however I am happy to help out as much as I can ie: managing player list

Hopefully when Wise is back into it, he can take over the reigns and we can get this show on the road.

Rollo, how will this integrate with Demonology? Can I rely on you there to be our "liason officer"? ;)

P.S Remember this game is setup for Demonland {and by the looks of it Demonology too}, however, feel free to bring your mates down and put them on our Interchange list if they are real keen on wearing the red and blue guernsey. Another point, like HD mentioned - Melbourne guernsey is essential for this match, show your colours.....just see how good we looked last time after we smashed them to pieces! :lol: {See link in my signature for the video}

That is all...

Rollo, have you sent an email around to the others who have played in the other games?

I'll start in the Forward Pocket or Flank & probably move into the backline as the game goes on.

Date hasn't been confirmed yet deanox....looking likely we may wait for our wise monkey to step back in OZ before we get our first game on the park. As soon as there's a date, throw your name onto the team sheet.

sounds good. i might have to get out there and learn how to kick first ;) but im in the gym at the moment so i reckon we're a good chance in the scrum...

Sounds like a plan. I ain't the straightest kick either, but we'll scrum through it together. That's always when you conjour up the greatest goals...

hey, mfc...

I got a pm from whispering jack, who thinks he is too old to coach, and that we need someone younger and more innovative...

the captain/coach idea has worked in the past, so the players should not be afraid to put up their hands...

any takers out there ??

"put me down for a forward pocket or flank"

hey, freak...

dunno if the forward line is the best place to put someone who can't tell points from goals...

lol. 'point taken'..but 1 goal 6 isnt that bad..coz my 1 goal was quite handy(even tho it was a point)...but that was not our last outing against the sainters...i did okay last time didnt i?..even though i played more midfield.

Rollo, is Whispering Jack putting his name down to play? Or is he too old for that too?

Freak: I have slotted you in at HF

" i did okay last time didnt i?.."

yes, freak, you did IMO...

but the fact that you and imtoohot were lookalikes on field probably meant I credited you both with more stats than you deserved... ;)

numbers wise at the moment you guys look you'd make the 21st or 28th.......did you want to go ahead with the first game on one of those dates and then play each other again later on in the off season?

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE
