Am I the only person in Victoria who believes this?

I didn't realise how much i disliked Geelong till they played The Filth and i started barracking for the black and white which i have never done in my whole life.

I went to the game in my mates Collingwood jumper ripped it off by quarter time.

Felt sick to my stomach. I personally don't hate the pies, why I was cheering for them, but sitting there, listening to their fans scream BALL every 3 seconds... The Collingwood filth girl who continually spat on the ground. I ripped it off and started screaming for the cats. How could I possible help the team that booed David Neitz.

And by the way, doesn't matter who wins, just want a red hot game.

I like Port because of Chad Cornes, Rodan and Tredrea.

Like Geelong because of Rooke, G Ablett and Bartel.

So go anyone!!!

I'd be keeping that quiet if I were you

Yeah also that I have to buy a new jumper for him, stupidly threw over the side of MCG walk bridge. (well not stupidly, but yes cause now ive gotta buy another)

BAN HIM NOW!!!!!

Hawthorn are my 2nd fav team and Port 3rd..only cause chad cournes stayed at my beachhouse a few years ago. I like to see it sent away so there are few people in the state rubbing the flag or whatever in my face

Dislike them both immensly! So it becomes a question of whcih team I dislike less. It's marginal but I would have to say the Cats.

I love footy & can watch any match. I'll be watching the GF this Saturday - but couldn't give a flying frogs fat arse who wins.

I know where you are coming from..I think the last time I suppoorted a Vic team against an interstate side in a GF was for the Roos against the Crows in 98

Same here......go Port. They can get to the top ,top , top, then they can drop, drop, drop!!

Hmmm, Id like the premiership to come back to victoria

I agree with this 100%, but there's only 1 trophy cabinet in Victoria that I ever want to see it in.

I want a Victorian team to win the flag...

But - If it's not Melbourne, I'd prefer an interstate team.

GO POWER 2MORROW!!!

GO DEES NEXT YEAR!!!

I have had no personal arguments.

My post was expressing my disgust at Demons supporters buying a Port scarf wearing and wearing a Collingwood jumper.

Sorry for showing some passion on the board.

Premiers, don't post lies, I made 2 posts, is that called going at it all day?

Are you gonna cry?

It's like I've never left my job in childcare

Sort it out, and don't involve the rest of the posters here.

Don't ruin a perfectly good thread!

Im going for the Cats. They have been the best team all year and I hope they can top it off with a flag.

I would like to think that when Melbourne gets to the next GF that other teams supporters would get behind us and end our misery.

I've loaded up on Chapman, Corey and Enright for the Norm Smith. I think i may have a problem.

I'm with you, Deano. Seeing them lose won't change the fact that we've been unsuccessful for the last 43 years. They thoroughly deserve this year's flag. This year's Port side would be luck to make the top 4 most years. It would take a monumental upset for the Power to steal the cup, and I'd prefer not to see the lemming-esque flinging off the top of the Southern Stand of Geelong supporters should the Cats cough up one of the biggest chokes in history.

On sat I will be supporting my MFC stubby holder

i agree its Melbourne or bust for me. I won't be barracking for the Handbags. Remember the "Stepven king-Jeff White" Comment-Stuff 'em

yeah that was off, but Port are bigger tossers!!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
