That was a much beeter effort from the Byronator..Still some way to go to justify the money...This particular jury member is still out!!

The question that needs to be asked, is not what has Byron done, but what can he do?

For some, the answer is not a lot.

However, I still hold some faint hope that Byron can turn things back around.

For me the ledger is still in the red in regards Byron. Much faith 9 let alone money ) has been invested. i want to sereal returns, not 'passages ' of play...good that they were, a handful of 'top' efforts does not a season make.

MUST KEEP BYRON in '08

HAHAHAHA..........now that is comedy!!!!!!!

At least our supporters are as inconsistent as our team!

and watch Yze magic run and hide. haha.

I would like to see him return next year, but, under very strict conditions. We must be prepared to be tough with him and demand that he does not balloon up again over the off-season and be prepared to submit to regular tests to ensure that this is not happening. We must also be prepared to be ruthless and be prepared to release him for not meeting fitness targets even if this means playing one short.

A question, can you promote a rookie to replace a player who has been released after the final lists are announced?

Pickett should only stay if he accepts that he has to get fit, and stay fit.

He should be told that he has to turn up at day 1 of pre season training at a certain weight and be able to do a 3 km time trial in a certain time.

If he is overweight and/or doesn't meet the time trial target he is out the door.

Then he should be given similar weight/time trial times he must meet for the year. Again, the first time he can't meet the criteria he is out the door.

Yes agree with that and 1 yr contract with low base and decent match payments.
