Players at risk to Devils

Featured Replies

I could probably work this out by looking at contracts and rules re the new Tasmanian team but I’m too lazy.

Does anyone know which of our players we may be at risk of losing to the second class satanic team?

This may be due to contract status or some other factor. Yeh I know - things are going well so I need to find something to worry about.

Ha I was curious and looking into this about 6 hours ago. We don’t have many players ooc at end of ‘27:

Gawn

Howes

Mihochek

Petty

Rivers

I wouldn’t be too concerned about Max or Checkers. Howes is still finding his way but may be an easy, cheap option for Tassie. I can’t really see Petts moving to Tassie, would go to SA is he does go. Riv if he leaves would go to WA.

The only other players that could leave us is those on one year deals and such, which is probably not a concern anyway.

My apologies I just found that Lindsay and Matthew’s are probably ooc too, both at the end of their draft deals.

I would be mortified if X left due to my recent purchase of a #5 guernsey.

Duke signed an extension in 2024 that takes him through to the end of 2028

I think Tassie can sign one player from each club across two seasons (the year before and year of entry) so players contracted to end of 2027 or 2028.

Access to existing AFL talent

The ability to sign up to 18 out-of-contract AFL players across a two-year window [covering the years immediately before the TDFC entry year and the TDFC entry year], with a maximum of one player per club in total.

I had no idea that this was the case. Thanks DG

Whenever I see this thread title, I just think of Patrick Warburton and Seinfeld.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
