Walsh is valued internally for his mentality, professional approach to training, competetive nature and leadership qualities. He is Carlton's next captain. This is all factored into his contract price & length.

Walsh has been in fine form tonight, 31

And you'd have to be happy with Jagga Smith

Yes indeed. Was a bit worried with Walsh copping a knock very early but he got back into it and finished the game strongly.

Jagga is quality.

Good hit out for the Blues, showing some positive intent with the ball even if execution in front of goals needs to become more polished.

Real test comes against Sydney next week. Not expecting a win but want them to at least be competitive for 4 quarters.

Going to be great to finally see what this guy can do.

Jagga is quite slight but a ball magnet and reads the play like a veteran mid

It's a one practice game sample size but I've seen enough!

Walsh was classy as well, especially with his look-away handpassing

Anyway, we get another good look at our kids tomorrow night. I wish them all well and that includes Laurie & Matthews

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.
