What was actually wrong with Angry's performance?

Just because Decastella and some other (American?) 'celebrity' were laughing began a narrative that the entire half time show was all his fault.

He sang 1 song and the batmobile would have had nothing to do with him. Play it again and tell me precisely what was wrong with his performance.

I didn’t like it. I’ve never been a fan of his, although he’s always had excellent guitarists who went on to better things; Ian Rilen being a case in point, playing with Rose Tattoo and then moving on to X and Sardine IV, both infinitely better bands, in my opinion.

You seem to have taken my comment personally? Are you related in some way?

Just for you @hardtack

And for those who have never seen it, or haven't revisited for a while

Here's Angry & the Batmobile

No, never met him either. Didn’t mind RT back in the day but my reply was certainly not personal.

I’m more annoyed with the whole event being Angry's fault for the past 35 years and he is always in the same bucket as the abysmal meatloaf performance when this topic is discussed. Okay for sure the 1991 show wasn’t great, but it’s always Angry getting the blame and not the AFL or whoever organised it.

If the typical old grey bearded cardigan wearing comrades that proliferate this site loved it you know it was bad.

And considering I did a month in the Demonland clink for having the temerity of replying to one of the many orange man bad rants posted here.
Not good to point out his opponent at the time had dementia and couldn't string a coherent sentence together apparently.
"Political discussion will not be tolerated.", was the message I received.
Have a month in the hole.
Just look at the all the TDS in this thread alone yet if I replied you can bet your backside I'd be out.
And old Binman up there thinks the Right controls the narrative.
Trump lives rent free in Hardtacks head as every other post he gets a mention.
Give me a break, the hypocrisy here is astounding 🙄

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
