I'm over this game.

We are pathetic!

Any chance that someone other than McLean chases an opponent and applies some pressure?!

Quite clearly, our players have given up and are looking forward to Mad Monday.

P.S.- PUT NEWTON AT FF (what the hell is he doing in the midfield?)!!

i apoligise to the kid, that was the worst free ever!

Sure it was, but Sylvia should have kept his cool and at the end of the day, he is the idiot who gave away a free.

We are so undisciplined. We need an absolute bastard of a coach to prevent this sort of [censored] from happening.

The floodgates have opened and we're going to get smashed now.

I guess that's the risk you take when you play a group of kids, and you have no backline.

I'd give my left arm to ensure Rivers is never injured ever again!

Changes for next week?

Out: Melbourne

In: Sandringham

or

Out: 2007

In: 2008

Robbo's 200th game next week. Hopefully the Demon fans still turn up, but I highly doubt it.

jaded what sylvia did was no worse than what was done to him. bad umpiring!

It was soft, but he shouldn't have touched his neck. He should know that.

What's the difference between Charman pinning a guys arm in a tackle(Mclean) and slamming him into the ground, and then touching him on the head while pushing his face into the ground, and what Sylvia did?

McLean should have got a free.

As I said, soft free kick, but the rule clearly says that you're not allowed to touch a player above the shoulders. So technically, the free was there. Sylvia should have kept his head.

Can we trade our entire team for Jonathan Brown, please? :P

23 to 4 marks inside 50. Guess who is winning!

Why is Newton playing everywhere but FF?

Junior... woeful kick at goal. Shades of Bruce ;)

Davey deserves to be dropped on form, but injuries will save him.

It's been difficult for me to see many games this year (being in Sydney get to see Swans play on both free to air and Austar) but i've read a lot about Newton on this site. So far not impressed.

The premiership defender had his best year yet as he was given the opportunity to move into the midfield and made a good fist of it. TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2024

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. Looks like the leadership group is TMac, Viney Chandler and Petty. They look like they have sli

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
