A Little Bit Jealous.

Featured Replies

Just finished watching the game of the year between the Hawks and Pies, and couldn't help but feel a little jealous watching two quality, finals bound Victorian teams

having a red hot crack.

Hawthorn full of running, and accurate in front of goal when it counted.

And the Pies, plenty of key players missing, but still ultra competetive and refusing to use it as an excuse to put in a sub standard performance.

We could learn plenty from watching these teams play.

Yes we could, run and kick long the way we used to play. Good young sides though just having a fair dinkum crack

Have you forgotten our great win over the Pies on Queens Birthday already? We'll beat them again this year too! Don't be jealous of them. Hawks maybe.

how bad are you going? feeling jealous of the filth

You have lost the plot JL

WE smashed that same quality Pies side only 3 weeks ago,

Eliminate all our early season injuries, Those 4 games we have lost under a goal & we are not that far away.

Hang in there, this year is not a true reflection of the potential on our list.

A couple of minor adjustments to the coaching & player lists & we will be right back in business in 2008.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
