Sorry if this has been said somewhere else. Miller played very well last year against Dockers in the final we lost. Could he be used as bait for Pav. However, I believe if we end on the bottom, Dockers would have to take whatever we offer if Pav sets a price before the draft and we accept. But I'd rather give them something and keep the 1st pick. (Is that how it works?)

Miller and Pav exist in different galaxies, Frosty will garner us a late 2nd round pick at best unfortunately, or be part of one of those ring-around multi ppl trades. ( but id be happy with that )

Yes i agree with the other posters that we should be able to trade one of Green/TJ/Bruce this off season. Surely the footy board are geting sick of TJ's injuries/form. TJ is injury prone and will probably allways be. I think if there's a good deal then i'd be happy for one of these three to be traded.

people who dont reckon bruce will fetch a first rounder have no idea about the trade period. consistently players of that calibre are top 10 picks atleast.

\P.Johnson (underperforming 10 gamer from WCE) was pick 20...u think we cant get higher than wat PJ went for? some people just dont think before they post

clubs dont trade 1st round draft picks anymore and especially not for a player like

cam bruce , theres too big a gap between his best and worst form

Nathan Thompson, Chris Tarrant, Trent Croad, Jon Hay, Scott Thompson, Brent Moloney, Jolly come straight to mind.

Cam Bruce would easily fetch a first round draft pick but prob only between 8-16 where a team's going for a premiership.

Cam Bruce can play.

Why TJ maybe had a lot of time. But Bruce and green when fit never

if it wasnt for the brother/sister act on this website atm, this would be possibly the most incomprehensible post ever. i don't think that is written in english lol

Holland is good up forward in a pocket, creates a mis match when two big strong blokes (Neitz) are up forward, i don't know why they haven't done it this year.

they havnt done it this year because he is not good enough. he can't kick for goal (all in the mind) and he isnt good enough to be the focus. we are better off playing sylvia at FF than holland, because sylvia might get it. hollands value comes, as you said, when neitz and robbo are up forward. this means holland gets the 3rd best defender. however we have had miller, dunn, bate, and now newton, playing that extra tall role this season meaning holland hasn't been required.

I am so sick of hearing that - people have players they lament losing and always will. Especially for when many of us had Woey as our favourite player, its something a lot of people will never get over. Not all of us view footy as a business transaction and I think better for us

if you don't like the way most people see footy, and what they want their team to do (win premierships). then go away, start your own fuzzy forum where you can all be best friends and you can all plot against winning and success and enjoy a little tea party with your mates (and your brother). but until then you need to start thinking about what you are saying.

claiming that we should trade the youth to get something is stupid. im sorry, i know i shouldnt call you names but you obviously struggle when it comes to the thinking and rationale department.

newspapers from woweys brownlow are not worth any money.

ferguson is only 18 months or so younger than bruce yet he still hasnt been able to crack the afl side and doesnt look like holding down a spot any time soon. why would he have high trade value?

your posts are poor. they have no real thought behind them, and instead are garbage that you decide to spurt. like i said to BB (brownlowe bruce or big brother????) in that ridiculously long thread he wrote, if you want to talk sense go for it, but if not don't bother.

LMAO. Ok first thing bite me.

Second thing the Woey thing was said with a sense of humour I suggest you get one. Clearly our younger players arent that great or we would be winning more so I suggested we trade them for better yonger players how does that not make sense?

If you dont like my posts dont read them no-one is forcing you to, I think you write a lot of crap I dont pull u up on it every time so give it a rest. And for the record younger brother

younger brother? you should be embarrassed. he has a better grasp of the game and its concepts than you, even if we disagree on a particular point.

if you think i write a lot of crap pull me up on it. point out what you dont like so we can have a discussion. but if its gonna be more "brock is crap" or "bruce is my idol" or "sylvia, faithfully yours" or "we don't play for premierships" then don't bother because what you say is crap, ignorant and reeks of being written by someone who doesnt pay any attention to the game and who has no real knowledge of how /why it is played. you may enjoy watching the dees. good on ya. you might well love em as much as i do. but it doesnt mean you are right on these issues we've been arguing about. and you still havnt been able to discuss it without it being an emotional attachment to the players YOU personally want to watch.

 Right. Our kids should be the ones who win us games.

That makes total sense.

If u think we should clear out our kids, u don't know squat about football.

Well considering hes played football and I havent I should bloody think so. No you should be embarassed, wopee I have an emotional attachment to players so f-ing shoot me! I dont care if what you think I write is crap, I am not going to pull you up every time I dont agree or we would be here all day. I am not sure who you think you are for you to decide that your opinion is far superior to mine but whatever it is lose it because it makes u arrogant and unpleasant and people do not like people with superiority complexes. And next time IM me and like I said DONT READ MY POSTS geez its not that hard

im not arrogant, im just sick of reading tripe.

Now now children.

As amusing as I find this argument, and god knows I find it VERY amusing, lets just end it by saying that not everyone here knows what they are talking about, but everyone is still allowed to talk.

This entire thread has turned into a circus, it started out reasonably well, but now we're trading kids to get better kids and Ferguson is a youngster. My head hurts just trying to make sense of it all. So let's move on. Plenty other threads to bicker in.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin
