G'day Everyone.

Just a short note/plug to remind you that Sandringham's (Melbourne) match against Williamstown (Collingwood) will be LIVE on the radio and internet this Saturday from 1pm.

You can hear the pre-game show and match (bounce down 2pm) on Radio 1611 AM and streamed via the internet at http://www.radio1611.com.au - Just click on the "Listen Live" link on the front page.

Remember both teams are currently UNDEFEATED - should be a cracker of a game.

Cheers...

Nice spam. Now I'll be sure to watch ABC TV and not listen to your radio station, cheers. :)

Come on now. We should be more hospitable to someone who comes on to inform us when teams involving our players are about to get some much needed publicity.

Thansk for the heads up radio 1611!

Why would you be such a wk about it. Whats wrong with him promoting the game? Its not even on ABC anyway,,,,

Hi Guys.

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to look like spam, if that was the case.

Just that now I notify AFL Supporters of when their VFL team is on the radio.

Like last week I got in contact with the Moderator of "Punt Road End" the Richmonda Tigers fans forum to let them know their VFL side Coburg was on the radio - they all tuned in and talked about it on the forum.

The main reason why i plug it (not just for our station) is that it won't be on ABC TV (they have the Tassie v Coburg match).

To give you full disclosure, 1611 AM won't be the only station there - 97.7 FM Casey Radio will aslo be there as well. Our signal is better reached in Melbourne's West, Bayside Suburbd and Geelong, whole Casey radio (based in Berwick) reaches the Outer South East better.

So to give you a choice you can listen to us online at http://www.radio1611.com.au or you can listen to Casey Radio online at http://www.3ser.org.au

Hopefully that down plays any spam talk.

Thanks again...

Peter Holden.

Garland an early goal.

Robbo very prolific early. Finding it hard to keep a hold of the footy, and kick straight. But he is flying apparently, and got a soft free and kicked a goal...

Juice is playing, had an early useful touch but is playing up the ground.

And why not? Robbo dribbles through a second, and is sounding dangerous... commentators very excited by his work.

AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

My computer decided to crap itself just as Garland had the ball and was going to deliver it forward to presumably Pickett then Juice... Any chance you could fill me in on what happened any more Silv? I'm a fan of Juice's.

JUICE!!!

Gives away a free for climbing all over the back of Richards. Richards tries to pass it short, and Juice backs up a chase-down with another chase-down, gets the free, advantage to Sandringham, Goal to Sauntner.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
