Watching the golf this am, brett ogle commentating from the USA congratulated his mate Whitey on the birth of his and his wifes first child. Me thinks you can put away your golf clubs for a while

Congrats to Jeff and his partner.

let us hope there are a few new boys in the white family tree down the track.

Yep. Article about it in the Hun today. Within about 3 sentences he was talking Father-son rule. In about 18 years, if the rule stays, we're going to have exactly the same team-sheet as we had in the late 90s! Lyon, Schwartz, Yze, White...

Someone, ANYONE go on whatever dating website Neita is on and do the right thing by MFC... Jaded, I'm looking at you... That is if you're not too busy with Brock...

Or Belly.

:D

Ok......

Doggy with Archie Thompson's sister to create the perfect running backman with INCREDIBLE footskills.

Flash with Cathy Freeman to create the ULTIMATE speedster. Might be some genetic problems there, as I'm pretty sure they're related ;)

Robbo and (the abovementioned) Lauren Jackson to create a player who'll smash their head on the Dome's ceiling.

And just for me..

Cameron Ling with Amanda Vanstone. They'll create a player so ugly no-one will tackle him.

Please, you know that my genes will only make the kid a crappier footballer.

I'll go the other 2 though

Thanks for the laughs guys

For what its worth my 2 cents worth: Nick Riewolt and Paris Hiliton: Create the crappy ultimate pretty boy, everyone would want to smash him especially our guys. :o:)

Ps. Congratulations to Jeff White on the birth of his son

... Jaded, I'm looking at you...

p.s. hope the ox found someone with good knees

GOLD! Especially the trav one!!!

Love your work...

i believe the ox's knee problem also extended to his netball playing mum and sisters. if he has kids they should wear knee braces or tape as a standard prevention from time zero. you can tape your ankles, why not tape your knees?

oops! forgot choppy carroll

carroll with carson from [censored] eye for the straight guy,....please!

haha love the vanstone comment, so true. though she's probably a praying mantis and would eat poor cameron, that was her policy for fixing the asylum seekers i believe

Funny stuff guys, thanks for the giggles.......

And congratulations to Jeff and his wife on the birth of their son :D !!!

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
