The Hawks fan behind me booed Maxy. She reckoned Maxy was a big sook and milked frees. She carried on like a pelican the whole game. I had to bite my tongue. No point arguing with fools.

Should have told her to enjoy September

She was a loudmouth clown. Best avoided in my experience.

I am married to one! We sit apart at matches.

As am I.

She's not really a footy fan though, thank goodness. I hate them a lot.

Sat in M56 for a change today vs usual M3 with the DA.

Was a fair sprinkling of poo & wee but the ones around me were nothing like the massively arrogant loud bunch of a'holes i remember from the 80s & 90s.

In the main they were pretty docile i thought.

Another example of not being their formes selves...

Was sitting next to a couple (young M & F) who moved away as they didn't like how loud i was barracking plus flying the flag.  Mind you that's not the first time that's happened 😄

I reckon even a few Demon supporters were surprised at how loud i was at times.

Not saying the sample was an accurate one but the Hawks around me were pretty quiet in general and didn't fire up much.

Still my equal most hated alongside the Bombers and Pies

Hoping we can put a winning run of 10 plus years on them.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
