Yep and credit to the club for not rushing him.

Footywire which probably accumulates its info from the mfc website has him listed at 193cm and 93kgs.

Bit I read an article that said he was 96kg. He will probably fill out some more and crash packs wide open.

He was crashing the packs well against Sydney to be honest already. Yep he will fill out even more though. I'm happy as our forward line structure is better than last season. Performance wise and some depth.

He's the same height as Maysie. If the article I read was correct and he's already 96kegs @ 19 then he might bulk up to May's 101. The strength of May was shown in that tackle he made that stopped the swans player cold. Hopefully Jvr will have the same.

Shouldn't we be thanking Jason Taylor?

I thank Jason Taylor at least once a week, with what he has created at Melbourne he has painted his Sistine Chapel (props to Tim Lamb as well, (Borromini minus the angst)).

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
