That is a dangerous comment on this website!

I'm not gonna have a go at Daniher not playing the kids just yet. Sure I'd prefer CJ in instead of Brown but don't forget we are still trying to resurect the season. Both are out of form but Brown has experience, and that's why he is in.

As for the kids like Buckley, Garland and Newtown, we will be seeing plenty of them in the second half of the year.

Brown over CJ what a joke... Yze Magic can you honestly tell me Brown is of more worth to the side... at least CJ can kick the ball properly not these pissy little under 10 chip kicks brown does..... sure he was great a few years ago but move on ND develop our team for 2008!!!

this is appaling... you can tell CJ will be a player but if he keeps getting dropped... he will end up like Jolly and Armstrong... playing great footy elsewhere.... Nd just doesnt have a clue how to develop young players..... not good enough... quite playing your old little "favourites" ND... u disgrace.

No question Browny is still AFL standard.

BUT, who is better for the future of the club. CJ hands down.

Do not get me wrong Nathan has been a great player for our club and i appreciate that.

BUT our list is not a premiership list so we have tp play the kids. and take advantage of this years draft.

At zip 5 we will most likely get a top 5 so we have to be tough in oure assessments of players at the moment.

lol

i believe byron should line up on chad cornes, the cornes boys arent the toughest customers going around, and especially if chad knows byron is always going to be around him somewhere, he'll think twice about trying to get the ball

Agree 100%

Agree 300%. Chris Johnson has been very ordinary in every game he has played. What is everybody basing this great talent on? His breeding?, Practice match or Sandy games?....when he has represented the red and blue, he has looked well out of his depth. Seems to have a decent kick on him, his awareness is poor, is slow and weak. Would love to see him make it as much as anybody, but needs to improve rapidly.

hard to take the step up if you know one mistake will likely cost you your place in the side, they also need to leave him in pretty much one position so he can get settled, which is why i think he should be told you have 3 or so games to prove yourself, atleast with some pressure of him he might relax a bit

as for your comments he is slow and weak, i dont think he is slow, ive seen him go in for the ball when its his turn and as for awareness i agree he can be a bit unaware of his surrounds but how many times does brown get caught? how better to gain awarness (like bell is) other than to play a number of games in the senoirs to get use to the pace of the game

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
