An alternative view of JVR as an emergency is as a way to get home and see his family.

JVR was certainly training at the captains run in Perth last night.

Presumably all emergencies do the captain's run?

I didn't mean for him to have a holiday, more to see his family while still doing training, attend games etc.

I'm still trying to work out which of the five nominal small defenders (Hunt, Hibberd, Rivers, Salem, Brayshaw) won't play in defence. The most versatile in that group is clearly Brayshaw, but he's also been our best small defender all year. Is it Jordon to the midfield for the Harmes' role and Brayshaw to the wing? Or Rivers to the wing? Is Hunt going to play forward with ANB playing Harmes' role? It's quite intriguing.

Hunt to do a surprise shut down role on Andy Brayshaw?

Andy has struggled with a tag not that it happens that often.

A shock tactic!

I'm just holding out hope there's a late change and he gets to debut at home...

hopefully chandler is the medical sub, we need someone who can kick goals available if things are not going well with our small forwards
