l drive from ballarat every week to watch our guys play.

yes it shits me with the way we are playing right now but wait.

good things come to those that what.

as melbourne fc followers we should all no that our boys will lose so many in a row.

then turn it around thats melbourne.

but we are not the only club going throw this take a look at the dogs or freo,

all of us where ment to be top 6 .

have you given up on the dogs to make the finals after their two spankings.

have you l think not .

what about freo have you givin up on them.

well i belive that both teams will make the finals.

the reason we feel so bad is that our hearts beat true for the red & blue and thats why it feels so bad right now.

just wait it will all be ok lets stop knocking our players. most of us dont no whats going on inside the club.

the club wants success just as much as we do .

it could be worse we could be the team that the AFL are trying to send to Queensland.

or the team that lost one of their best players to a hoilday in the usa when he should be playing.

at least our guy are trying to to their all to bring out their best.

if you lost faith after Neitz and Robbo .

how do you think the boys at the club feel.

if you think we cant win right now well maybe thats the mental problam we not just at the club but like a cancer right throw the club.

down to the supporters.

we need to get use to not having Neitz their for how much longer do you think he will be their.

RobbO is a gem but could not hold down fullforward anyway so now is the time to perpair for what will happen in the near futuer.

I WILL BE AT THE FOOTY COME SUNDAY WILL YOU.

lm sick of people saying they will not go to a melbourne game or pay for their member ship.

well fine then dont but you dont have a voice and l dont care about you for as much as it shits you the way the demons are right now .

it SHITS the club even more that your not a member to help the club get what the members want.

so go the dees

and make sure we all hold on tight for the ride could be a little rocky this years .

and for those not a member when do you get your membership after a few wins , once you no we will make the finals , or one of this people that will once we win a flag ( TO LATE THEY JUST WON IT )

so get on board and help the club.

B)

still want N.D gone A.S.A.P

It is good, gave me a laugh

Thought the good things come to those that wait line was the best :lol::lol:

Gee we love the red and blue so we should all shut up and accept mediocrity. We'll all wait patiently and sip on our tea and say "Jolly well done old chaps" through thick and thin.

Wipe the brown off your nose, smell the air and notice there's something that stinks a bit at the moment. It ain't what your saying BTW, it's how we're playing which has a lot to do with the coaching.

Could not agree more with the above statement!

I am sick to death of pre-seasons full of praise and promise, only to deliver a season of ups, downs and eventual heartache!! I will passionately support the Red 'n Blue until I die, but on the other hand... It would be nice to enjoy the spoils a bit more often!!

You drive from Ballarat so you are @ least 18. Thats sad!

Have you spent your 1st two decades under a rock?

WE all love our club & will continue to be there week in week out but hey,

A little sustained success @ some point would be handy. Consistency, hope, surely

after 43 years we are not asking for to much.

You see I'm into my 5th decade & still waiting & am no longer prepared to just roll over & accept mediocrity

Time to make things happen & not just pray & hope they will.

It is good, gave me a laugh

You could understand it??

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

  • PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: “Then came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.” Today, we’re back in the same place although one difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, …”  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.
