News is filtering through that Doug Parkinson has passed away at home.  Very sad indeed if true.

EDIT: this has now been confirmed by his publicist.

    I hope it's not disrespectful to say I thought he had passed away years ago.

    Doug was a true legend of Aussie music and a singer with an incredible voice.

    Had many beers at the old Whitehorse Pub listening to him back in the days. He and band were great live.
