Anybody who could post updates would be my hero! I can't connect to media over the computer I am on and therefore can't stream the game. Any updates would be brilliant!

Demons 27 Saints 19 at Qtr time. Goals Robbo 2 Neitz 1 Green 1

Thanks a heap! I really appreciate it.

Gehrig gets a free against Carroll that was a nothing. If Neitz gets those he kicks 8! Saints by 16pts. McLean may have a foot fracture

Just heard Millers name for the first time. Robbo just kicked a goal from a lying on the ground position against 3. GOAL OF THE YEAR!!!!

Handball mistakes, frustrated by umpires, goal to StKilda...

Fantastic updates... Helps but am looking forward to the demons revival......

And Brock! Not the news we wanted..

This will be the catch cry for the first six weeks, "handball into trouble!!!!!!!"

[censored] this run and carry [censored].....kick the [censored] thing!!!!!

Saints 78 to 41. Inside 50 just 5 times. Total capitulation. Crap game plan. We are bobbing corks! I'm not usually pessimistic, but this is the message we have been getting throughout the pre-season. The game plan we had two years ago would beat tonight's saints. Backward steps!

Actually the game plan from last year was fine... just we were mentally soft in two or three "easy" games that would have delivered us a home final... there something very Balmesque about the current style.

Free kicks 27 saints 15 Dees

Saints got a few lucky ones, but I gave up swearing at the umpires, Saints are hunting in numbers we are second to the contest and standing flat footed. Who knows if this run and carry will work, the players are just handballing in circles. I thought the idea was to go forward.

79 49 9mins final qtr

79 for the saints I can accept... but 49 for us?? That is unbelievably bad! With the team we put on the park it should be 100+ points per game...

50 mtr penalty to Gehrig after he missed the goal. Even stupid Billy and Grant sacked Thomas don't know why. Perhaps we arn't using the game plan that the umpires prefer.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
