He wasnt in because the coach is dumb and stubborn. An absolute travesty .Thank god he woke up. Such a bad bad decision by Goodwin yet to be explained by any one near to the club.

Laughable.

Vandenberg is a gladiator. He is one of the toughest guys in the comp

He is the sort of player that gives you confidence going into any battle when he is by your side. If we are to upset anyone, he is the guy we need to be setting the standard when there is some heat in the game.

I worry about the Dutchman's fitness. Fabulous for one half. Quiet for the other. Not surprising, of course, when you've not played AFL for over two years. But he's an impact player and things happen around him when he's going full tilt.

Easy to forget how good Kent was early this year. Particularly Norf and Hawthorn. Maybe the penny has dropped?

Hannan is criminally underrated on Demonland.

Even I underrated him, we just have to get used to the fact that sometimes he'll only get 6 kicks and maybe snag 2-3 goals, he's not a high possession winner but loves crashing packs. Like an old fashioned full forward. You never know when he'll pop up.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
