How good would another Yze running around be! One of my all time favs.

Noah Yze plays basketball in the same competition as my son and he goes all right at that. A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of scoring a game with his old man. Great bloke, fantastic footballer.

On a related note, Nathan Brown (Demon #25 variety) has at least a couple of sons playing at the same footy club as my daughter. Early teens and pre-teen but both winning/placing in the B&Fs. I've not seen either play.

Interesting that the article values the Viney father/son higher than RDB Snr and Ron.

I still think few these days remember the way Ronald Dale use to play - it had to be seen and once achieved, was indelible. Not all have had that opportunity, it was far above just historical enthusiasm and legendary folklore. All we have now of his game is scratchy old black and white film, poorly taken, edited to buggery, newsreel stuff chopped and glued from the past from videotape conversions of shocking 16mm drivel.

Football is the man. Truly.
