You called Jack "half-arsed" and accused him of "not pulling his weight". You are wrong.

So so far it seems my rev-up has had the desired effect. I should apply for the assistant Tony Robbins' role to stevethemanj with the wonders he's worked in turning around Omac's career . . .

HOW DID I MISS THIS?!

The DeeBrief on Facebook has uploaded a video of Dappa Dan's fingering of Tom Bugg.

It really was a great run down, Bugg looked spent right at the start and there's no way you'd think he was about to make that chase.

No [censored]? I might have to go find it. It's not the one that Stuie guy blocked me from, is it?

Lol I'm not sure. Just search The DeeBrief on FB. Do some scrolling coz it'd be a fair way down by now.

Just did. I think it might have been taken down. Still... As long as there's some more oomph added to the Bugg legend, that's fine by me.

Surely we can watch it a few more times before our attention turns to the team selection soon.:)

Bump

I re-watched the last qtr of the QB game last night. Two weeks later and I can still feel the euphoria of the Watts goal. It, along with the crowd roar, was one of the single best moments I've had supporting this team and I'm 53 years old. We were as one.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
