2016 Player Review - # 39 Neville Jetta

Featured Replies

The club's quiet achiever, Jetta is an important cog in the team's defence, often being called upon to counter the opposition’s most damaging small forward. His rise at the club is remarkable for one whose career was at the crossroads a few years ago when delisted and given what was considered as a final opportunity on the rookie list.

Can't think of many better small defenders than Nev going round at the moment. Maybe that Smith bloke in Sydney. Nev is tough, skilful, has good hands and is a good navigator in heavy traffic. Not the most penetrating kick but he adheres strictly to the Clint Eastwood rule. He's a ripper

He is scheduled to play his 100th game in 2017. I can't think if a better success story in recent years. He will have fought hard for every one of those 100 games.

Just such an important player for us.

i think we have one A grade in defence and its Jetta. Tom mac a B grader due to kicking, then we are still really developing.
