McDonald's season was not as outstanding as in 2015 but he still put in many excellent performances and he became the leader of the defensive unit in the absence of Dunn, Garland and Grimes. Still needs to improve his disposal and decision making if he wants to be counted among the elite defenders of the competition.

    He was solid for most of the season. I think he still has some room to grow as a player and has All Australian potential.
