Prowling went prowling off to the worst spots it could think off. Terrible ride.

The leader stacked them right up which didn't help

The winner (Minsk Moment) was impressive wearing the right colours.  Looks to have a bright future the way it won

Should never have let itself get so far back, I know Williams does like the swoop but that wasn’t right in my opinion, wrong horse for that ride. Normally is up around the mark, not the very tail.

Lombardo salutes with ease. Just like the great drummer Dave Lombardo, this horse is quality!

Lombardo did it easily ... looked all class.  Good pick

I had a saver bet on Front Page but no match for the winner.  Decent time for the Valley too

So now Homesman just needs to finish things off!  I'm reminded that the horse won the Australian Cup back in March so fingers crossed

Def fingers crossed.

Who have you down for the Moir? I’ve stuck with Portland Sky. It owes me nothing and as a leader it has every chance.

I've got Portland in a wide (ish) exacta with a few others.  The right combo pays very well

But Wild Ruler for the win and it should get a good run in the race ... as should Portland & Profiteer

'Forgot You' wins again ... wasn't on it but should have been.  Got a great finish has the horse

Larkspur pipped on the last stride.

Williams gave it every chance ... winner too good.  Larkspur just needed that extra kick on straightening

Yeah there was not much more that Williams could do.

Gone for a big roughie here in Ashlor on the nose.

Curran is quick isn't it?  Bought online for chump change.  Has now won $300k

I was on Meteorite for a bit of value ... ran ok and had every chance

Yeah Curran is good, Ashford might finish as the next race starts 😂

Secret Blaze just too good at the end. Close tho.

Homesman ran very well but gave the winner 6kgs ... and that was the difference in the straight

Wild Ruler wins! Nice!

Thought The Inferno had it but what a kick!

All credit to Wild Ruler though ... it's a good horse and a fighter

Had wild ruler into Portland sky, but Portland was never in it once it didn’t come out around the bend.

I'll watch the race again Gorg to see what happened to Portland but my focus was on Wild Ruler so much so that the only other horse I noticed was The Inferno

I'll be following both horses but Wild Ruler will be going to stud soon enough

The Inferno is a very good horse though and will race on as it's a gelding.  I reckon it's an Everest horse

I’m no expert but Portland looked to be in a great spot, but needed to come out and by the time it wanted too another horse was there and it had to wait again and no idea what happened after that as wild ruler sprinted away and the camera followed.

Yeah the two favs don’t interest me unless I have two others and add one to try and bump the odds up slightly. Zaaki wins. Can’t see it not.

I like Artorius at $9.

Ive backed Portland Sky a lot along the journey and will look it’s way again I think.

I've had a small wager on Remarque at decent odds in the Golden Rose but Anamoe goes into a multi

Not even going to bother with a multi at 1.24 for Zaaki so another small bet on Superstorm ... first time the Melbourne way of going for Zaaki and whilst it will probably win, Superstorm might surprise at good odds.  Probabeel is into $4 whereas Superstorm is $12

Yeah Zaaki looks well above but maybe the correct running direction confuses it 😂

Ha ha!

You never know in this game, I'm big on times and Superstorm's times are quite good.  As are Probabeel's

So too are Zaaki's times but Probabeel & Superstorm are group class horses

Small field but fascinating race ... the exotics are only worth pursuing if you want to have a go at the finishing order

Probabeel and superstorm ran well but the Number 2 in the Red V on a blue jumper saluted comfortably.

Artorius ran home hard. And if he didn’t have to swing out 15 wide to get around it probably bloody wins.

Haven't seen a race but listened in ... seems Zaaki did it easily and Anamoe couldn't quite get there.  Remarque dropped away

Had a mixed day but got a few late collects to break even

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
