Thinking about it all, the transgression seems out of character for Jamie Kah

Quietly spoken, level headed, grounded and a real sensible type

Then again, they probably just got on the drink and we all know where that can lead!

Nah, I wouldn’t know anything about that…

Deep speed buried its speed deep… really deep.

The With 12 horses I wouldn’t be surprised to see 6-7 cross witching a head of each other, but if all ran their best race I reckon behemoth wins.

Yep, the big boy is a star of the turf.  Behemoth too good and Prebble rode it like it was the best horse in the race.

Prebble picks ip $30k with a sling ... Jamie looks on forlornly!! That's racing!

Beau was very brave with Tofane 3rd in a truly run race.  The first 3 - all class

Beau did me proud. Love Behemoth but I think I love Beau more. Linda rode well, had to come so wide.
I have been having a mare but I had some on Behemoth and I put Aegon in my f4 when Sierra Sue went out. 41% of that make the day a nice one.

Excellent result Gorg

I got the exacta twice and a big percentage of the trifecta ... needed Inspirational Girl to get into the finish for a bigger pay day

Beau got the 1400m alright and hit the line like a good horse.  So 1200m up to 1400m.  The mile might be a tad too far but I wouldn't rule that distance out

Good to hear.

tbh I thought 1400 was stretching it, I’d like to see a few more at 1400 and see how Beau goes.

Mark Zahra out for the Spring as well now as he attended the same get-together (it's been discovered)

Latest story is that all 5 jockeys might get an extra month for not being honest about it all.

The Stewards have a history of being heavy handed for these types of things so why would anyone take them on?  Strange goings-on

With a boost about 30-1 can be had for the double

I like 'Elephant' in the Feehan St but it's a wide open race.  Streets can get into the finish as it is drawn the inside and likes to lead.  25-1?

And at the Valley that can be a really advantage.  'Elephant' has drawn a great gate (1) as it too likes to lead

My value runner is Sovereign Award at 25-1 as well

Exotics could pay very well

I too like Elephant. And with some Rain coming I think it’s in very good position.

Portland Sky and September Run resume against each other. Both short odds. I miss the $8+ I was getting on Portland Sky. It was easy money 🤣

Mates horse Facemask runs here in Race two. Was originally going to Adelaide (second fav) but with the rain coming here trainer said run it at MV. He thinks it’s a very good chance. At $10 at the min.
Only second run under the new trainer but it ran its best race last win.  Big field and I’ll be following it closely

Good start to the day ... 'Forgot You' flies home to win.  Soft7 at the Valley but strong headwind in the straight

Super effort runs second. Didn’t get the run early enough and by the time

it got out it was too late.

Degraves salutes by a small margin. Was ridden well, thought he was in a bad spot and couldn’t get out, great ride by Miss Kelly

Sierra Sue dreadfully unlucky in the Feehan St.  I didn't have it included in my multiples but I reckon if it gets through it goes close

Superstorm wins and now gets a run in the Cox Plate but McAvaney reckons it's more suited to the mile

Underwood Stakes (1800m) on GF day is next up for Superstorm according to the trainer.  'Elephant' ran well and looks a group horse of the future

Up in Sydney 'Nature Strip' & Zaaki did as they pleased to both win impressively.  The Everest & Cox Plate long term targets ... both installed as favourites

I had Sierra Sue with Elephant, Superstorm and Nonconformist as my f4.

Nature and Zaaki trotted past them like it was nothing.

Don’t doubt Dory also ran a good race yesterday and Geist impressed me.

Replays going back a couple of weeks (as well as the 4 features from Saturday)

Apart from the open betting race that the  Makybe Diva Stakes is,  there are some real shorties running around @ HQ on Saturday

But they might all win ... Ingratiating, Artorius & Ayrton are all odds-on in their respective races!

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
