We need to start looking for our 4 best midfielders

Featured Replies

Jones, Vince, Viney and Tyson are our 4 best mids. I have no problem with any of them - and the latter two particularly are still definitely in the development phase.

Brayshaw could be anything, he may well be one of our best in a couple of years.

Kent, Salem, ANB have all shown plenty. Stretch has shown a bit.

We still need more but I don't agree that we need 4 new players to come in and take up he mantle of 'best mids'.

This.

Wouldn't matter who was in the middle.

For the first 10-15 minutes they were witches hats.

I won't be going again this year.

Kind of ruins your day when you rock up expecting a close contest and they give it away in the first quarter.

I was tempted to leave at quarter time .

They need their faces slapped.

Like a Salem instead of Grimes?

He's one. Jetta' disposal is ok. But TMac are Grimes are terrible butchers of the ball. Garland and Dunn are seriously unreliable. The better sides have vg decision makers and excellent users of the ball in their back half. Hawthorn have a great back half, except for Frawley :) . Anyway, this is a midfield thread..... If we got 2 x new A grade mids our finals prospects next year would leap markedly. One through trade, one through FA. Guys like Brayshaw, Viney, Salem would then develop and learn so much more.
