Training - Wednesday 22nd April, 2015

You're right 'Alf', can't believe I wrote that. Been listening to Dermott & Kingy too much.

Anyway, he does get a lot of footy and generally uses it well.

that is , when he doesn't kick to the fat side so the leading forwards can catch it...

Just trying to help you out with a time frame. I'm not in the habit of making up shyte about what happens at training, so how about you back TH off with your insinuation.

Sorry precious, but you did start it with your rather snide commentary about why I didn't notice it, which I admitted I didn't, each to their own, if you post it, you will get it back

Give it a rest, mate. You don't need to pick apart other people's training reports every single time someone else starts a training thread. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but doing this discourages people from sharing what they saw at training. People, including myself, enjoy reading your reports and input, but when you carry on like this it makes you seem really petty.

Told you before don't read it, I was trying to ascertain when this occurred, as I hadn't seen it, just wanted to confirm, would have thought it strange for Dawes to be competing in the ruck with all knees and elbows with stitches in his face, but obvioulsy he did

Just a bit of humour Cards referencing RM, I said early on Garland took himself out of the Leadership Group so he could concentrate on getting back to where he was 2 years ago, think he is nearly there

No all good just think he may be a scratch this week.

One other thing I forgot, they were giving all the players coming off a track something to eat, managed to get Harmesy to show me, it is a paleo bar, players seem to like it, called a 'naked choc' or something like that if anyone into the diet is interested

Why?....he didn't have a problem at all

He may have pulled up sore and had to have a leg looked at.

I know you have some insider knowledge, but believe coz he has had so many foot and ankle issues, gets them scanned on regular basis to ensure all is well

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
