Chris Dawes....

You wouldn't play JC at FF surely JR. Have him out at CHF where he could take on some leadership responsibility and demand the ball !

Wouldn't matter where you play him - with his old style approach you can be sure the umpires would crucify him.

Criticism is warranted for his poor form but geez you blokes turn quickly.

Dawes had 5 kicks 5 handballs 5 marks. his career average over 8 years is 6 kicks 5 handball 4 marks. he is playing to his full potential.how can we ask for more when he is already playing at his peak

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Dawes always seems to have 3 players on him when he leads.

Melbourne player floats the ball somewhere in his direction so it is easily spoiled by defenders

loose melbourne players are nowhere near the contest and run alongside their opponents who get the ball that has been knocked down

Meanwhile Watts has presented three times to a space and been ignored by teammates who take so much time delivering the ball forward the opposition are able to man up and set up.

Dawes needs Howe behind him and jkh in front of him Watts can deliver it to him

I did notice on the odd occasion Dawesy came right up the ground he had no real problem marking a ball. he can mark. Hes good at fumbling when pressured but I reckon 9/10 ppl would , with that much attention
