Lacking a superstar?

Featured Replies

I know we desperately need a superstar however I'd rather us develop a base of 10 very good players first and then worry about this.

If he was a little more accurate we'd all be celebrating a win, he was very unlucky on the weekend not to have 30 touches and 3-4 goals and wouldn't the crows love seeing him do that for another side.

he was so close to obtaining the highest fantasy score. if he had have kicked 4 goals of those bombs from outside the 50, which was very plausible, he would have ended up on like 160 sc points, (i think a goal like 15-16 points) i think he would have been highest sc score for round 1.

next week operation give it to bernie lol.

...at one stage it looked like Bernie and Jack were 'waxing', they didn't trust some of their teammates kicking skills.

An ugly mixed metaphor if ever I saw one. How does one harp on a chestnut?

I'm sure froggie will come up with an image showing you how bbo

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
