... and Brent Moloney seems to be at the forefront of it."

Had to laugh when I heard that comment on the radio during the Doggies pasting of Brisbane.

Moloney was named in Brisbanes best players.

Don't know why he would be getting knocked?

He tried hard all day & IMO will have a good year.

No story here ...

The whole Brisbane midfield was woeful. Rich was far worse then Beamer. The lions will still be a tough side to beat. They didn't turn up today.

Moloney was average. Probably a bit better than the shite he squatted out last year.

Martin has NFI.

But the biggest thing for me that no one seems to mention is Johnno Brown. Looked like a dinosaur. He's going to struggle towards the end of his career, which I reckon is going to come pretty fast.

You are on the money as usual DA, Moloney had a fair bit of the footy but his poor disposal was the same as in previous years poor at best.

Brown seems to struggle in contested situations these days, body has had enough ?

Have to admire the job Lower did on Rich. Kept him to 8 touches.

Looks that way, Smithy. Sadly.

They could really use a Mitch Clark type to pick up the slack and take over the throne :)

On Beamer, I'm now really starting to wonder. I mean the stats point to him having a good day, but they got pants'd.

It's gotta be something with his clearance work, surely. He's getting it clear, but is he turning it over even MORE?

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
