Training - Monday 28th January, 2013

That's Jesse Hogan in the Number 1, he made a lot of the male watchers on Monday envious, at one point he went back to the van/marquee and stripped off his shirt, for a 17 yr old he was ripped, god knows what he will look like in a couple of years, first saw him a couple of months ago and the change already is amazing.....besides which the kid can play

Jonesy's going to have a massive year, he is just moving so well and it seems he is the go to man in the midfield. Expect another bluey from him. I also think Blease is in for a blinder. We look a lot faster and more cohesive. Good footage, it will be taken down soon though probably.

if the club asks me to take it down I will.

I particularly like the stoppage around the 6 minute mark, Jones gets the handball, breaks a tackle, sells some candy and delivers a great kick into the pocket.

holy moly I know its only training footage but jeez jesse Hogan looks alright! surely does demand the ball that's for sure! We could have a beauty in our hands.

loved the video, got me itching for the real stuff...even looking forward to the nab cup

big russians one hander was nice but hogans contested mark against frawley was better.

at about 2.50mins i instantly jumped on the dom barry bandwagon

and i don't think pickle evans will be trying to take on mckenzie again lol

thanks again for the upload 59days to go...thank god its not a leap yer

Great stuff in that video. Nice commentary too :)

Already excited for 2014. Hogan looks a beauty. Great leads, strong hands, almost guaranteed everytime. Quality :)

Yea had a couple blokes next to me talking, but I didn't want to kill the sound so you could still heart the players banter.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
