Hindsight...it's a wonderful thing!

Jose you've been quiet on Morton recently.

So?

I was quiet when he was doing well too, after I had faith and said he would. There was no need to point it out.

And I'm also aware he'll continue to go through runs of good and bad form, like any young player.

Did you have a point you wanted to make?

You know that for a fact do you? You've spoken to him, or the coaching staff and he/they have confirmed it? Or is this just more of your speculative crap that bears no relevance to reality?

Don't try to sound authoritative when the reality is you don't have a clue.

Yes, in a fashion.

Trengove is carrying a groin injury according to my source.

But it has been pretty obvious watching him run around.

Are you trying to say you have a clue Bobby?

Cos you seem to just go from thread to thread trying to argue with me.

A coherent argument would be nice for once.

There is an excellent "Ignore" feature in the profile settings. I am just going to alter mine slightly, and my Demonland enjoyment will increase greatly ...

In hindsight I would have become an Adelaide supporter, put a lot more money on Black Caviar, and remembered when Mothers Day was.

Seriously, not a lot of point to this conversation about the captains. What it really points out is that we lack natural leaders. I do hope the 2 young blokes go to the coaches and board and resign at the end of the year. I think it would signal their desire to do anything for the team to be successful, and potentially allow the club to have a do over and make a more defendable decision.

An anonymous source; haven't heard that one before when someone makes a stupid statement and gets caught out on it.

As for a coherent argument I'd get a more sense out of my 8 year old grand son than I would out of you. You're a troll and you'll disappear soon like all the others soon, Dr Who?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
