out of his opponent. He also has the ability to kick goals from limited opportunities. He's unfashionable but he can play a role. I don't think playing him as sub makes sense.

But if he plays, which I suspect he will, he should take Birchall (on the basis that Hodge either won't play or won't be that damaging if he does because of his injury from last week combined with lack of match fitness).
