Tim Watson from SEN has suggested that the initials-J S be included in the players jumpers for at least a year for the feeling that he is still with us and never be forgotten.

I suggested in a tweet to the club that the players take the field with a small number 11 (could even be 37) embroidered on their jumpers over their hearts; doubt they will have taken any notice, but I still think it's a nice symbolic gesture.

    Like most of us, I have read hundreds of tributes to Jimmy through teary eyes over the last couple of days. I thought this extract from the notice placed in the Herald Sun by the Board of our Club was very moving, and relevant to this thread:

    "We proudly call ourselves the Jim Stynes Board. To the members of the MFC reading this notice - we will never forget the values of Jim Stynes, and long may they be the values of our Footy Club."

    I am trying to word this correctly and hope it comes out that way.

    Let's not say "do it for Jimmy" as a mantra for motivation but rather a motivational mantra of "Whatever it Takes"

    These are powerful words. Maybe they should appear on our banner every week.
