Know this is completely off topic however I wanted it on the main board and furthermore it's something that was bought to my attention is really something everyone should view. It goes for 20 minutes but as a 21 year old male very rarely are you moved by videos but this was extraordinary. This was put on youtube today and has just over 250,000 views.

Please watch it and thank me later.

Furthermore, please mods leave it a day than take it down. Cheers.

The best 30 minutes you'll ever spend on Youtube.

Heartbreaking and very important.

Why do people love to jump on bandwagons? I think Joseph Kony is a terrible man, and the LRA is a dreadful organization. However throwing a few dollars at an organization that has a poor track record of spending their donations is not the answer. The organisation that produced the video supports the Ugandan military, which has been accused/proven to engage in the very same tactics that are being condemned. Africa has much bigger problems than Kony and the LRA, and unless the general instability of that region is resolved then he will only be replaced by someone just as bad and the cycle will continue.

Also, food for thought. The main guy in the Kony video just posing with some military holding guns and rocket launchers. Solution to stop Kony? let's give them more money for more guns!

Also, guy with the rocket launcher pulling the duckface. Winner.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
