Can Toon Army knock off the undefeated Stonecutters, in clearly the match of the round?

Furious D, Sam Lonegan's tackle on Carrazzo, couldn't have come at a better time for me.

I just need Jack Riewoldt to fire up. At pick 39, he'd be favourite as the stinker of the draft so far!

Not sure how I'm going to replace him IWAP, he's been one of my best so far.

Jamar killed me last week, if he hadn't let Minson help himself to 40+ hitouts I would have knocked off the stonecutters, lost by 1 hitout.

After a 0-3 start won 2 in a row, but at the same time my defence is my weakest position so if anyone want to trade me a defender, every player in my team is available for a fair deal.

josh Kennedy eagles having a crap year. anyone want him?

Just got a lot crappier. Out for 12 weeks with an ankle.

Hehe nice try Robbo King. Not all bad. Walker got off, and Kelly should be back.

I drafted Ablett (round 1) and j.kennedy (wce(5)).

you drafted s.mitchell(1) goodes(2).

now I am glad with Ablett captain. I would have him and Kennedy instead of Mitchell and goodes. ey? not overvaluing am I? ;)

How's that working out for you now robbo? :) Sorry, couldn't resist.

Offering me Kennedy for Goodes after this post was a tad cheeky.

If you still want Hampson I've sent a counter offer, but Kennedy isn't part of it.

Only slim pickings out there i'm afraid...

Going to sit on Gilbee I think. So far lost Nicoski, Embley and Harbrow, got Rischitelli out too

At least I'm on track to get up over you :P 34 touches for Heppell, 30 for Redden and 39 for Stanton, plus Iles having a good one and Big Mitch with 21 disposals...

Hope your not this premature in other aspects of your life :D

Hitouts and Score are secured. My captain and vice-captain yet to play, and the Ultimate footy recruit of the year, ie. Sentanta O'Hailipin will be making his debut. My focus is already on next week.

hahaha

Hunting for a trade for either of Osbourne or Breust for a forward at a similar rank - I've got too many bloody Hawks

Okay IWAP, it's closer than I thought...but you may have been premature on the hitouts - Naitanui out, Cox solo in the ruck...21 hitouts, and it's only midway through the 2nd term!

Good contest. All my players played to their peak today.

Scott Selwood has been such a relevation for me this season. Thought i overpaid for him at the time.

To think I passed on Selwood as I thought I had too many Eagles already...

Now I only have one.

Been so freaking screwed by injuries.

should've taken it? haha. this pre draft decision-rivalry just gets hotter by the week.

Wow! 14-1 on Monday morning!

However, St.K v Carlton tonight: 0 players left v. 2......... Definitely gonna lose marks and tackles, let's see how the rest pans out; could be a nail-biting finish!

Clarification: are we playing a keeper league?

Also trades proposed, trades proposed everywhere.

I'd personally prefer not to have a keeper league - I look at my team, and see a lot of mistakes and would love a clean slate next year.

But we probably need to make a decision on it soon, so people know how to properly list manage. What does everyone think?

I agree, especially with the possible addition/adjustment of the league next season.

Also, IWAP, what are you looking for for Bugg?

Aw yeah. Won the hit outs with 20 this week. 10-3 victory!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
