And Bartram?! In the leadership group...very surprising but good on him all the same.

Great result. My dream leaders.

Trengove has already shown real leadership on-field.

And Grimes, exquisite skills - just stay uninjured!!!

Great year ahead - can't wait.

Finally a good bold move from the MFC. The line in the sand has been drawn! The only way we were ever going to stamp out the pathetic, losing culture of the 90s and 2000s was to appoint a new coaching staff and leadership group. Our senior players like Green, Davey, Sylvia and Moloney are good footballers but have no ability whatsoever to lead men.

Trengove and Grimes will breath fresh air into the joint and continue to lead as they have since day one!

Great move and congrats to the jacks!!!

Yes congrats to the Jacks, feels right. Very happy to see Jamar in the LG after making it his goal and landing it, good sign. And it seems we're building a rock solid defense with so many back men in there or, maybe a new role or two to come?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
